Oil pump went, without warning or sound. Engine never threw a single CEL or Oil light, but I have 6 equally spun rod bearings and metallic/black oil.
Just debating a low mileage 3.8 engine or a 4.2. Those are running $400 MORE than the 3.8 around here for some reason :/

Huh, turns out having a v6 block bored is only $50 more than having one honed and ridge reamed. News to me...
