Wow! I didn't know it was a mustang until I saw the wheels. I am an old guy whose fast driving days are waaaay behind him and my low insurance rates are going to stay that way. I love my 2010 Mustage and just regular driving around is enough excitement in my life

Some guy that lives near me, I didn't know him but a lot of my friends did well, was doing 100+ on his little crotch rocket through side streets late at night. Young guy, maybe 20. I suppose you can all guess what happened. Now every night his family goes out there to light candles and mourn. And cry. And probably feel the worst they ever have. All for a "hey guys, check this out!" moment. Stupid. Awesome thread, OP. I'd like to shake your hand.

It's definitely a mustang. Speaking of design, did you guys know Donald Frey, the guy who engineered Mustang's form, just recently died? We've got learned.

Glad I read this thread... was putting a lot of thought into just testing my car on some back roads for fun, but after reading all these posts and OP's, just going to stick to daily driving. Like most people said, life is too short, and being 18 I don't want it to be over sooner than it has to.

You're in Cal... there are plenty of controlled environments (tracks) there to go play on. I'd suggest getting some seat time with an instructor. It's amazing what those guys can teach you about your car and how to drive it to it's limits.

I can't believe how the engine was literally smashed into the trunk. I just can't imagine what it would've been like to sit in her shoes and go through all that she did. I just goes to show that if you want to go fast, stick to the track.

This is just one of the many reasons why I dont do stupid crap on public roads anymore.

140-150 down Sunrise in my wifes 93' 300ZX almost going under a semi because the brakes faded so bad and having to take a 90 degree turn at like 20mph to avoid the truck when I was like 23 years old... Yeah, freakin stupid.

Where is the one that Ryan posted a while back?
