Default Back Window shattered in Convertible!

So I put the top down, drove about 5 miles to the store, put the top back up, and the back window was shattered! I am wondering if anyone has had to replace the rear window in a convertible, and what goes into it? does it need to be sewn in?

DUDE, that blows! I got quoted the other day for having my top replaced with one with a glass rear window with defrost and it was around $1000. The Plastic is cheaper and I am thinking about it, but worried about quality.

Let us know what happens, and good luck.
