thats a lot of money just to run 15s IMO. i would leave it alone if you don't plan on keeping it long.

Yeah but the thing is, I didn't ask for your opinion. And I do plan on keeping it, for awhile. Once I'm done with it my parents still plan on hanging on to it for nostalgic value because my father regrets selling his first car and wants me to keep mine. And I really don't have anything else I want to spend christmas money on. I don't play video games that much and don't need anything else.

The other thing is that not all the money is going to make it a 1/4 car. In the end, the money will land a nice fun street car.

Yeah. If I was building it purposely for the track I would just spend that money on nitrous. I go to the track occasionally for fun but mainly its for cruising around in the summer. And it could use some improvements haha.

I miss my first Mustang. '81 T Top hatch, black with the porno red interior. Got it mint back in the early 90's for $2000. Imagine what it would go for today!

Mine won't be worth anything 20 years down the road haha, but doesn't mean it can't be kept as a weekend cruiser for years to come.
