Cats.. or No cats?

Cats.. or No cats?
I know this question is asked probably a million times on this website.. I know. I'm sorry. But I came to ask here, I've looked on Yahoo answers, and around the internet. And theres ALOT of mixed opinions about this. Some say removing the cats gives better performance (some power increase) and better fuel economy. Others say it completely ruins performance, and even worse mpg. Now... my question is.
I just recently (15minutes ago to be exact) purchased my Dual Exhaust conversion kit from AmericanMuscle.com . The Flowmaster Dual Force II Catback system. I want my V6 to sound good, better than stock atleast... & and I noticed with cats, this exhaust system sounds a little ricy. So I was thinking about getting the kit installed, and remove my cats also. I live in Florida so emissions testing is NOT a problem. Will removing the cats give me a deeper and stronger exhaust tone? Also anyone that have cats removed, have you noticed any negative feedback at all, anything major?
