Where is this cap located?

Default Where is this cap located?

Hello,

This may be a stupid question.
But does the 2006 Mustangs have a separate radiator cap or is there only a coolant cap for the coolant overflow tank?
Just wondering b/c I was going to run a coolant leak test.

I have 2019 Mustang GT and I have to add radiator fluid into the expansion tank. If you flush your radiator system, I know you need to burp the system to get air out.

Do you know if I should hookup a Cooling System Pressure Test Kit to the expansion tank since there is no radiator cap?

Coolant system pressure checks are basically the same. If you do not have a Radiator cap then YES, the pressure test cap would go on the Expansion tank. But: Always refer to the OEM Maintenance Manual to ensure it is done IAW their procedures.

The guy even talks about the PSI and everything.
