Default MMR 2005 V6 Throttle Body Spacer

I was wondering if anyone has installed this or knows anything about it. Are there any risks?

It seems like it would benefit only on the top end just like milling out the divider under the carburetor on a single plane intake. I've wondered if those "Tornado Fuel Savers" are any good though. They're about the same price.

I read this huge article (that was posted here a few weeks ago) where some people tested every fule saver available on the market, and they all ended up either using more fule, using the same amount of fule and losing hp, or using the same amount of fule and hurting the engine really bad
