Ok... I'm planning on getting the 2 10" stripes on my new Mustang, but I want to know everyone's opinions on how big the gap should be between them? I was guessing maybe an inch ½ because I don't want the wide gap. Also, I've noticed on several websites for the decals that the pin stripes come in more than one size... such as 1/4th inch, ½ inch, 1 inch, and 1½ inch. What is the most common width for these? Thanks guys! This will be going on my new 2006 Windveil Blue pony

I went with two 10" stripes and two 1" pinstripes. I think I have a 2in gap in between the 10in stripes, and I have a 1in gap between the 10's" and the pinstripes. It looks awesome and I do get complimented on it often. I can post pics as soon as I wash my car (we're recovering from a snow storm and there is an ocean of salt everywhere) and get a hold of a digital camera.

I went with 1 1/2 inch gap with a small pinstripe on the edges.

Ok, I have one more question! For those of you that have the stripes, did you install them on your car yourself or did you go somewhere to have them put on? If you went somewhere, what kind of place did you go to? I'm not sure if the dealership would do it or a regular body shop or accessories place... any ideas? I'm in Virginia Beach, VA so if anyone is in the area, let me know! Thank you!!

It was done by the dealers body shop but the lower stripes were done by a local body shop near my home the cost for the Shelby stripes run about 1,000 to about 1,200.

the "norm" is 2" gap, 10" stripes... but do what you like
