Ya'll know it's a neighbor's car down the street - he just took pics and doesn't know what the hell the guy did so he made up some bs. That's so [sm=smiley35.gif] !! haha. it's funny though - whether it's his or not, he recognizes a good car when he sees one! Probably like a 15 year old kid who just added a few things to his wish list for his sweet 16.

I got that message from him after I commented on how I think he has a v6 with body work. I dunno, i still think i smell some bs. I know I would have under the hood shots if I had built a 500 hp car.

In 1967 Ford made a GTA the A designation simply meant Auto transmission. The car had a 390CID. The emblem looked exactly like the one he sports on that car. They placed the emblem on the front fender of the '67. The rear gas cap also had this designation.
This was the only year for this production and units were limited. I could go on...I have more knowledge of the classics as I have owned a bunch. This is my first new Mustang! It's fun!

GTA's. Oh how I long for those days. You could walk into the dealer and get a 390 CI Stang with 330 HP right off the floor.
Ford Fairlane also had the same designation in 66 and 67. My favorite was the 427 Sideoiler with the 4 speed toploader in the Fairlane.
Man go from show room to strip in same day !
Back then GT was four speed GTA was C-4 automatic.

maybe hes into the metric system when it comes to hp? he sould have gotten the steeda rear cover to eleminate the whole badge thing on the rear.

i think that it must be some what real because there is a pic of it at a show...but 535hp? yeah right
