how much would you figure to get metallic flakes with pearl clear coats. I know its kinda general but I am just wondering? OR better does anyone know how much it costs for each clear coat. If anyone knows anyone in the forum who owns a shop that could help too.

 

A shop near me quoted $3,700 to paint mine Candy Apple Red - metelflake.

But.. the owner is a long time family friend and that price is with me helping do the prep work on the car.

Normally, it would be between 6 adn 10 grand, depending on how far you want to push the finish!

 

Wow 10grand? thas crazy! i guess its a TON of work though. i think imgoing to paint my truck, when im happy with my car and can save up some money for the equipment. LOL
