depends what state your in if you go to jail or not. And just because your tires arnt rated at that exact speed doesnt mean they will blow as soon as you exceed it. I think it is a guid line that shows when the tires will stop providing good handling. Ive been to those speeds before (no traffic) and the car handled just fine with the 16's. But its better safe then sorry!

The Pirelli 17's are good tires you're fine with those, people are talking about the stock 16" BF Goodrichs which are crap IMO .

the stock 16's are crap. i got the 17" pierlli's gt take offs and my lord what a difference in handling.

The Pirelli's are Rated at 168 MPH, very good tires,
they make a world of difference compared to the 16's. much better handling, better ride, and a lot quieter.

BTW the speedometer reads up to 125 MPH (extra line after the 120) or 200 km/h
