Does anybody know of anyone getting the strut tower bar from the Shelby CS6? I know it is a bit more expensive than say the Steeda steel one, but I heard a while back that the Steeda ones were a real tight fit and were being sent back pretty often because they were bending the hoods. Anyone know about the fit, quality, or sizing of these bars?

To the best of my understanding the braces aren't interchangeable between a Gt and V6.

 

He's talking about Shelby CS6 parts. The "6" in CS6 is for a 6 cylinder.

 

What are those strut bars for anyways?

 

Basically they help cut down body flex and roll a bit, improving handling.... a really easy, simple install part that doesn't cost a bunch but can help a lot.
