Default Gas

What are we gonna do about the gas? It's about 3.25 for premium down here in Cali! Sucks for me cause I got the 91 octane tune on my car. What the hell is causeing(?) this problem? I also heard it could be up to 4.00 dollars by summer!

im sticking to gas....and i heard it could even make it to 5 dollers over the summer, also if texas has any problems or gets hit by a hurricane we are ****ed basically... +1 to drilling in alaska, **** those endangered birds. Im not looking forward to ethanol or other bi products either, i dont like the idea of suger run engines nor the idea of my car smelling like mcdonalds. i like my proven gas.

Ummmm ethonol is gas, just half gas and half alcohol and I know you don't care but it is better for the inviroment. Only catch is you may have to use octane booster as I think ethonol is 85 octane rated right now. Hydrogen cars are also in the works, only downside is if you were to convert your stang to hydrogen, you'd have to get an s/c just to keep your stock hp, as hydrogen needs lots and I mean, lots of air to produce decent quatities of hp. But it still gets way better mpg than gas.

I might have to re-fi my house just to fill up next week. Oil companies know they only have a year left with Bush in their pocket.

Ethanol is not 85 octane is like closer to 100 octane is called E-85 because the fuel used is 85% ethanol 15% other stuff. it will give our cars more hp. if we convert which i plan on doing. it will also be cheaper and much better for the enviroment.

Ethanol=corn=renewable=better for enviroment.

yeah, E-85 is 105 octane and the ford FFVs (fuel flex vehicles) that run on it now actually have a 5% HP gain than whe they use regular gas.

most websites that the mustangs cannot be converted to use this gas, did u hear something different?

Interesting take on the ethanol and it being 105 octane.
Also speculations about going to war with Iran over their nuclear programs and enriched uranium has sparked this as well.
Any time there is a potential war on the horizon (USA v someone else) and with a oil producing country no less, this can be a disaster to the consumers all over the world not only here.

hmm..... http://www.e85fuel.com says that 4.0L Explorers are E85 vehicles but for some reason our cars are not listed, kind of strange.
