Well the shifting thing can be slightly eliminated by getting a short though shifter, but the car "LACKING" in a sence when it comes to accellerating is beyong me. Now it could be the chip driven throttle body valve, like my year is cable driven, a cable goes straight from the accellerator to the throttle body, your year, it's basically the same, but instead of attaching directly into the TB, it goes into a small box, which inturn inturpriates your responce, this will cause a little "LAG" at times, so is that what you're feeling?

I believe (not positive, anyone care to confirm this?) that the dealership would make money if they had to perform warranty repairs, wouldn't they? I mean, they are in business. They sell cars, and they fix cars. Wouldn't it be Ford's problem (by Ford, I mean not the dealership, but the giant faceless corporation)? So in other words, the dealership itself shouldn't be out of pocket.

In any case, you are the customer, they should be kissing your rear bumper to make you happy.

Ken
