one more question...I have two extra screws - do I put them in the open holes on the aluminum piece that the filter is connected to? (sad, I know)
Thanks big time!

don't be sorry, thats what this is here for... if you have done the install correctly and it sits just a little above the radiator yet fits under the hood and there is no bending in the plastic, im sure your fine, btw instead of jumping straight to questions just take your time and figure it all out how you want it and use your common sense....thats half the fun of ordering new things...the install

RE: Quick C&L install question
Yeah, mine doesn't sit flush with the radiator cover either, but as long as it's snug and the hood isn't hitting it, you should be fine. I've had mine like that for a month or two now with no problems, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Not sure about those two extra screws, though. Have fun with the install!

RE: Quick C&L install question
Thanks guys! I was looking in some of the pics on other threads, but I couldn't tell how high the shroud was because the camera was higher than the car. I figured that if the trunk closed fine without hitting it, it would be okay.
Oh yeah, and I figured out what the two screws were for. They were fto replace the two screws that you had to use the torque bit for. You could just put them in instead so you could use a normal phillips head screwdriver next time.
Everything looked fine to me, I just wanted to ask because I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to working on cars. This was pretty much the first thing that I've done myself on a car. I went out and she ran great on the 87 tune! It was just like everyone said. I'll have to post my impressions later. I did find some new rattles though lol.

RE: Quick C&L install question
My first try, I installed the intake, and tried the tuner.. tuner didn't work, so I had to disessemble it. When I got my replacement tuner, took me about 10 minutes to get it right.
