VERT TOP LATCH ADJUSTMENT

VERT TOP LATCH ADJUSTMENT
Hi,
Anybody has adjustment procedure for latches. My vert top seems a bit loose at front end. When I hit road bumps or potholes, makes noise, vibration like, coming from the latch area. Am thinking to tighten it a bit.
I have a DVD workshop manual, but there is no mention about how to adjust the latches.
Thanks

+1, don't touch it, go to the dealership, there should NOT be a noise, it should be a nice tight fit!

Get it to the dealer ASAP you don't want to mess around with that.

RE: VERT TOP LATCH ADJUSTMENT
Welcome to the rattling top club! Unfortunately after some time the new Mustang verts do develop that rattle you are describing. In my case it was after 20k or so miles. The only time I hear it is going over a washboard surface and it seems to be coming from the latch area although the latches and the top are nice and tight. Others have reported the same rattling. I've also got an irksome rattle in the passenger seat if the back is in a certain position and no one is sitting there. Then there's the one in the rear seat area that comes and goes. I love the car except for these annoying rattles.

RE: VERT TOP LATCH ADJUSTMENT
Mine started the rattle right after I put the Hellwig anti-sway bars in. My tire pressure was on the high side as well. I'd say any change that firms up your suspension system is bound to transfer more of the road NVH to the loose parts, which will result in a rattle.
