Default RE: crank pulley alternative

I am looking for Alternator pulley myself. How much do they sell for? More than $100 ?
Trying not to go over $30 per hp :-)

Default RE: crank pulley alternative

it would be a pain in teh *** to remove the AC system, IMO its not worth it.. a lot of labour would be involved.. and ill tell you it will be expensive

and it cant be just a "AC delete kit" theres no such thing if there was, it would probobly be just a smaller belt to make up for the lack of pulley

if you really want to do it

1 get someone ODP approved
2depressureize the system and remove coolant
3remove lines to compressor
4remve lines from the condensor
5chuck line from compressor to condensor
6romove and chuck condensor
7remvoe the receiver dryer
8remove dash
9remove remove lines from evaporator
10 remove and chuck evaporator
11 feed line from condensor to evaporator through firewall, chuck it
12feed line from evaporator to condensor through firewall, chuck it
13apply appropriate size belt, and in the direction that the pullies would still be spinning their appropriate direction (lack of pully can really screwthigns up, certain pulleys and their functions are designed to spin one way)
14 replace dash
15 go for a spin
