back on the topic the sl55 amg mercedes. is a verrrrrrrryy fast car. my dads car is the sl600. it has a twin turbo v12. the 0-60 is the same as the sl55 (supercharged v8) but, where the sl600 becomes a ferrari beater is in the torque department. from a 70 mph roll the sl600 will light up both tires (obviously LSD). ive only driven it about 3 times but the power difference between my car to the sl600 is amazing. here are some pics of it next to my moms red sl500. all the sl-class mercedes will tear apart a GT. and a blown GT would have a hard time keeping up with and sl55 and no chance but maybe to like 30 mph on the sl600 or sl65 AMG

thanks for backing me up guys! And yea, the sl55 is a sweet looking car with awsome power... but for a price... the other cars you mentioned go for 20-35k...

The mag's say that a z is high 13's or low 14's but I will tell you this stock for stock a with the same driver the gt beats the 350z. I have never seen one break in the 13's at the track. I actually seen the 99-04 gts run with the 350z. They dont respond well to modds. Nice to look at.
Listen guys just cause a mag says it will run a certin time doesnt mean crap. Ive see stock GT's run low 13's (13.3-13.4) with a CAI and tune you can get a gt in the high 12's, that cant be said for a 350z.

Now Im not sure if you al v6's can hang with the 350z are not, but you could modd pretty easy to get there.

i have something to tell you...if a car magazine runs 13's with a car that means it is capable of doing so. THAT is the point of bringing it up. If drivers are equal, the z will DESTROY a v6 stang. notice he compared the z to the v6 not the gt. between the gt and z its a drivers race.
when people post these times it is more times than not because they do not have a slip lying around from driving the damn car, and it shows the potential of that car. Don't even try to tell me magazine times don't tell you anything...when it is close it is different, but saying they don't count for **** and a v6 can easily keep up with the 350z is like saying the corvette can take the veyron in a drivers being equal race.

I ran a SL55 AMG (thanks Trill I forgot the letters on the trunk) he ran 12.7 to my 13.4, nice cars. Zs at the track are all running from low 14(few of them) to low 15s. At the track is a whole lot different than in a magazine. Its GT territory till the green hits. Someone said a Z would run with an SS camaro? Sure it can if the Camaro is not in gear!

probably not from a dig, but definately from a roll. raced one from a 40-50 mph roll getting on the highway and stayed right with him, then backed off at about 115. the 05+ gt's will take the 350, but an 04- would be close. (unless its from a roll)
