scrming had one, and if you check his website he has dyno's and other info on them

i think he found a few more hp out of the c&l

the mmr intake is probably a pretty good one, but the c&l is a bit cheaper and gives a bit better gains

Well if you want looks I say go with the AEM, though it showed no gains vs. the stock air box. But man it looks sweet!

ok.. here is my opinion... if your going to do a CAI then you should get one that requires a tune... Yes, I had the MMR and it didn't require a tune but what we found was it made most of it's power gain by leaning the motor out... The C&L (which requires a tune) out performed the MMR on the dyno by a little bit.. but on the street the C&L definitely felt better... And I think a tuner should be everyone's 1st mod! So go for a C&L/X-Cal2 combo... LOL

i have an mmr too. i have lidios tune, but since mmr claims it doesnt need a tune, do you think he accounted for it? should i manually up the fuel percentage a bit? With the dual exhaust will it be running too lean now? OMG i wish i had a dyno shop around here!

I have the mmr CAI with the high flow tube, I noticed a little difference when I first installed it, I have since gotten the car tuned. With such a little difference in horsepower, you made the right choice going with the one that looked better for you.

If you told Lidio that you have an MMR CAI you should be all set.. he has a MMR tune (based on my car! LOL!)
