Default Almost @ 3000 miles

I drove the Mustang to Dover DE this past weekend to watch the Busch/Nextel Cup races. A total of about 500 miles and now have 2955 miles. Ready for the first oil change. I'm going to change the engine oil and filter of course but what about other fluids like clutch/transmission/rear diff? Are there break-in fluids in these from the factory as well? Any reason to change these fluids so soon?

I think the other fluids are just fine... change your oil and forget about it... just follow your manual's suggested schedule.

I think I read a post here about changing the rear diff fluid to a synthetic to quiet the whiny gear noise. Any truth to that?
