Default grill or grill insert?

just want some opinions here....

I was looking for the center fog light V6 grille, but in doing so, I have decided that I like the billit grill with the bars that run horizontal. I have come across two types, the replacement grill, and the grill insert....of course the inserts are much much cheaper and of course, I am a cheap bastard, so my questions is, do the inserts look good at all? Can you still see the stock grill behind them? Should I just bite the bullet and get the replacement grille? I am talking about a difference of about $175. Thanks.

I recently took my billitt grill off, but you could not see the stock one behind it at all. Mine did not have fogs but I don't know if that would make a difference or not.

i think the billet is a little bold and in-yo-face for my liking without fogs... if u wanna do a grill upgrage i recommend the gt fog kit and bumper or just the gt fog kit that fits the v6 bumper, im kinda on the fence about the centre light kit.... altho it looks better than stock, ur choice tho! good luck
