I heard another horn go off when I intentionally set off my alarm to test it out... How do you activate that additional horn for when you normally just use horn? Reminds me of a Caddillac horn and I drive on the god damn blue route (1 476 / philly) every day, so I need all the manly sounds I can get

I also heard that the Shaker 500 has 8 speakers, and 1000 has 10.. Am I right on this?

I can only find 6 on my 500... 2 in the doors, 2 subs in the doors, and 2 in the rear...

Shaker 500 I believe is 6 speakers and the Shaker 1000 is 8 or 10.

There are two speakers close together in the front part of the door that is covered by the dash. With 3 in each door and 2 in the rear you get 8. You can see the 2 door speakers if you shine a flashlight through the door grill.

All things being equal, more speakers does not produce better sound. I went with a Pioneer AVIC N3, concept amp, 2 Boston Acustic SL80s & 2 BA SX85s, a thumper, and XM radio. Just makes it even more of a pleasure to be in a mustang.

shaker 500 = 500 watts 8 speakers (positions mentioned above)
shaker 1000 = 1000 watts and the same 8 speakers with same positionin plus 2 subs in the trunk = 10 speakers
