Yes, Forced Induction.
And I may only be thinking of Twin-Screw s/c, which we don't have to worry about (Yet!), b/c the Twin-Screws give so much power in low RPM's anything about 3.73's will just melt your tires.
But I am not 100% sure about the cent/root style s/c, or even turbo's. Most turbo's I see are on 3.73's though.

Yeah I want a twin screw S/C but now the only one that I know of that is coming out is the X-CHARGER but I am still waiting to see more details about what coming with the kit. I heard that Kenne Bell will not do a V6 Twin screw S/C, so we may be limited on the S/C we can get for our V6's. Right now I only have the C&L CAI intake with the Diablo tune on it.

They haven't had forced induction since Vietnam from what I hear.[sm=usa.gif]

Thanks for the clarification guys. I kept wondering what FI meant![sm=partyparty.gif]

I have the 3.73s and I am quite happy with them. Highway is okay.

Drive around town with your over drive off! If you like that, get the 4.10s. If not, get the 3.73s

The xcharger uses the MP90 which is not a twin screw blower, it is a roots style blower. Roots make a lot down low, just like a twin screw, but lack the ability to make great power up high too. Saleen, whipple, etc = twin screw.

Correct me if im wrong, but a roots style blower uses the intake manifold to build the pressure, while the twin screw blower builds the pressure in the blower itself.

Yeah I think you are right from what I was reading about this supercharger, I was under the impression the X-CHARGER was twin screw. Has anyone heard if anyone will make a twin screw for the V6?

i thought that the general notion towards gears here were 3.73 for standards and 4.10 for the autos
What Chrisc said.
T- 5 od ratio .72
autos is .75

explain why you go shorter gear for a shorter OD ratio[&:] please enlighten me

To make up for the softer takeoff with the auto vs manual. It has nothing to do with top end. It's about 1/4 mile times.
