Sorry your experience sucked man, but hey your car looks great! I vote to defiantley KEEP the stripe. I love the side stripe and think it's missing something without it, but go with what feels best for you dude. Let us know what you decide.

I took off my stipe. I think it looks cleaner without it. Its not hard to take them off. I used my finger nail to get it started and them just carefully pulled it off. It took about 5 mins.
