LOL, my roommate's still about to buy an 05 base RSX... in fact the dealership has been jacking him around on it and he's really getting pissed off that he doesn't have it already.

If he tries to pull any crap like that on my with his 4 banger rice cooker I'm gonna knock him in the head with a wrench.

On a side note, he's pretty gullible so I was thinking of making suggestions for him to buy all the mods that I think are the funniest on ricers, starting of course with the 8" exhaust tip.
LMAO

I'll tell him it goes on the front of the roofline in the middle, like the WRX rally car

All of the regular Acura RSX's are automatic and the RSX-S (Type S) is a manual transmition and I believe you can choose whether you want 5 speed or 6 speed. The Types S also comes with fancy shmancy crap to add to the body such as the lip and the fog lights and bigass spoiler, etc like jericho said. The only reason I know this is I was looking at them because I never thought I would be able to own a stand so I was like "fine I guess I'll get a car that's good on gas " Then my dad suggested we go look at Mustangs and I said "why the hell not right?!" So that's my life story and now I have a stang!!

P.S. I like smileys
Base RSX's come in auto <w/ stupidshift> and 5-sp, type-S is only 6-speed.

did some research on them this morning when I woke up, regular base RSX model Horsepower: 155 hp Torque: 139 ft-lbs, even though only weighing in a lot less then a 4.0 mustang, still no competition. Then onto the RSX Type-S Style, Horsepower: 201 hp Torque: 140 ft-lbs. It would appear to me that its still no competition even against a stock mustang with that painfully low torque output. I think it's just a case of mommy and daddy paying for the car and owning fast and the furious on dvd.
Type-S is on par with a 5-sp Mustang v6, a bit faster then an auto. High 14's to low 15's or so...there 0-60 is 6.1 by C&D, while ours was 6.9 <auto>, which i think is kinda high but still. Sure it has no torque but it's also 800 lbs lighter then us, base RSX is a joke but the type-S is no slouch. The k20z1 takes to mods very well also. From a dig we should take one to say 80 but from a roll no way, they have good top end.

i'm not big on street racing, in fact never have. I'll throw a rev here and there and once in awhile get up to around 45 excessivley fast but around here cops will nail you in a heartbeat. It seems theres about 3 cops for every 1 car in the town, all I want is for people to learn to drive with some respect. I don't care if your driving a z06, theres no need to drive like a wreckless maniac on the streets.
