Well, could those of you with splash guards perhaps let those of us interested in buying them know where they are to be found and what kind of $ we should expect to pay? And is the procedure self-explanatory and easy to DIY?

I don't know where I got mine, my gf bought them for me as part of my anniversary gift.

They're pretty easy to put on, if you have a stubby philips screw driver or an allen wrench (L-shaped ones). There's about 3-4 inches of clearance between the tire and the screws. I had to use my multitool and only open the screw driver head half way to make it like an allen wrench.
