Paint side mirrors

Anybody consider painting the side mirror black housing to match the vehicle color?
Good idea, bad?

+1 Buy a pair of painted mirror covers. Look at some of the sponsored sites on the front page or ebay.

I have seen a few painted mirrors and to me it looks good not sure how much they paid to get it done but it is a nice touch.
