Default best self-tuner

With so many different companies making tuners for the 4.0, how do i know which one is worth the money and risk of changing the factory tune?

This is like asking what tire is best for you and not telling what you are looking for, Smooth ride or slick looks.

So with that out of the way, What are you looking to get out of a tune? do you have any mods on your car or planing on any SOON?
