Default Tires...

Living in Colorado, obviously snow is an issue. Should I get a good set of all seasons and run them year round, or a cheap set of snow tires and run them from Oct-Mar. Opinions on tires in both situations?

Thanks again guys...

I live in Colorado too. I'm on the Front Range (not Denver), at about 6000'. I bought my car last January. I had occasion to drive in the snow around town on a few occasions with just the stock BFG Traction T/As. I was amazed at how well it did. Having said that, when I upgradge my wheel/tire package to 17s or 18s I'm going to keep the 16s and put snows on them for the winter.

I agree with Pony tail. Use the stock wheels for snow tires and get some summer tires for the fun summer days in the twisties!

OK, so I wanto to put snow tires on the stock wheels, and get these for the Spring & Summer for my black Pony:

Blizzaks for the Winter sounds great. What about for the "driving season"? Suggestions anyone?

Also, the Pony package comes w/17" wheels correct?

When I put these in my "shopping cart" at tirerack.com, there was a note nelow saying that additonal hardware for installation would be included at no charge.

Are they referring to the lug nuts or do I need centering rings? God I hope not! I figured they would be the same fit as my stock wheels???

whats the offset?? compare it to the stock rims and if they are within 5mm u wont need any spacers. so im guessing its just lug nuts

Okay, so it looks like I'm going with the alloy 17" GT take offs. Looking to get Nitto 450s 255/50/17 in the back, would it hurt to have the stock pirelli's up front? 235/55/17 I believe. The side wall difference shouldn't be noticable.
