I was lookin gon Bama CHips and saw they have performace torque and race tunes. They recommend getting performance an torque on dif octae levels. just wondering why they dont recoomend race and what each one does

I have 1 tune for the 87 octane (performance) and 2 tunes for the 91 octane (torque & race) and so far I like the race tune the best. It’s good for around town driving and when you step in it, it has killer punch. I’m running 285/40ZR/18 Nitto tires and I get a bit of a 2nd gear scratch when I’m on it hard.

so since the combo comes with 3 tunes i should just get one of each per race and torque and use race in around town drving?

I got the 3 tunes and tried each one for about a week and I personally prefer the race tune to the other 2 tunes. The torque tune to me feels like a down tune of the race tune

You may find you like the performance or torque tune better it’s just a matter of preference.
