500RPM Raise In Gas Mileage?

Acceleration is improved as the slightly higher rpms adjust my shifting (on an auto, the computer would do that for you). The T-lok and gears put more power to the ground from a dig. I feel no difference on the freeway as the car accelerates as it did prior to the mod. One thing that was weird was one burn out where the rear end really vibrated hard like one tire had trouble making contact on the surface or somethin. It on happened once though. You just have to get use to the new set up on a manual because it is like driving a different car in some ways.
Pat.. how much difference do you feel when compared to just having the tune and CAI. I am so torn about doing this... where do you see the biggest improvement? Do you see improvement in torque and seat of the pants feel across the range? Beside the slightly higher RPM, any downsides? Happy you did it?

I've had them on for about 4 days and I would estimate I'm about 2-3 mpg from where I was before the gears. I've also been flooring it and driving kinda hard. I'd say 2-3 is pretty close.

Has anyone out there with the IUP have 3.73's, and if so how has it affected your gas mileage? I'm peticulary interested in how much it would affect me switching from 3500 to 4000 RPM for the same speed in 5th gear as I gather that 3.73's would raise your RPM's by ~500 [I do at least a couple 3000+ km roadtrips a year and don't drive slow ]
