Default E N O U G H ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I know I posted this as a response in another thread...

But I want to make SURE everyone sees it!

OK...

Enough of this crap!

This is MY section, and I have let this go WAY too far and too long!

What is up with you guys, your acting like a bunch of 13 year olds who have just been told to turn the TV off and go to bed by your Mom!

I just don't get it.

HOW can 2000 other active members on here get along just wonderfully and you 5 or 6 individuals have to continually make everyone’s life hell just because things didn't go your way today because you failed to pay attention to the rules or simply felt the need to push it to the edge and now your pissed because you got your hand slapped.

I for one - am a pretty damned patient individual, but you guys are without a doubt the biggest bunch of crybabies I have encountered on the Internet in years!

I have grown quite tempered over your inability to deal with life, play with others, respect authority, follow guidelines, express yourself, and negotiate terms.

So let me put it this way so perhaps you will understand.

I WANT THIS CRAP TO STOP!

I WANT IT TO STOP NOW!

It is obvious that you will continue to banter and badger and keep causing drama.. SO… I will delete each and every post or thread of bitching I see immediately when I see it! Without notifying anyone.. I will simply make them vanish.

I will request to administration, anyone who starts such threads, be banned without notice.

I have tried HARD to get the V6 group to meld with the GT group. I was even making very good headway in that regard until THIS stupid bickering started. Now everyone thinks the V6ers are a bunch of immature crybabies. It will take me months now to rebuild the community thanks to you guys who refuse to accept your bumps and let go.

To the rest of you - - - sorry for the crap you have had to endure, and I hope you will be patient with me while I corral these freckle faced brats and put them in the time out room!

This is the end of my rant – but not the end of my wrath!

Hey PW,

I recently asked ROTM about creating a new link to the rules & guidleines for the forum (he has not had time to reply - I just asked him in a PM). Perhaps I am simply overlooking it, but my attempt to find the rules yeilded no results. I suggested to him about putting a link in the top banner, like was done for "Recalls and TSB's" (in yellow). I doubt many of the members here (myself included) have read the rules.

Have the moderator set up a separate forum for venting only members.

I have enjoyed visiting this forum since the day I joined in Dec. 05 but it was becoming more and more tiresome wading through all of the off-topic stuff and the hijacked threads. As most of you know, modding our cars is an expensive (and neverending) habit so answers to technical questions should be taken seriously by us all. And the sponsors pay for our privilege to trade ideas, results and heartaches so that we all benefit.

That's just my rant and opinion. Thanks.

Hopup...

.... man - - - I had no problems finding the rules...

I read them the first day I came in here and joined.

Right up front... very first thread... in the new members section.... plus I encountered links to the rules a few other places.

But really - - - with the exception of "selling stuff" - the majority of rules are common sense!... If you wouldn't do it at work, at church, or in a police station, you shouldn't do it her!

Soldshort has posted the link to the rules in case anyone wants to look at them.

Thank you SOLDSHORT for posting the link. I think it would be good if all the members (re-)read the rules that were listed when we joined. For me, that was in May 2005, and my memory isn't that good.

Hop... don't feel bad... my memory works better AFTER a beer.. that is BAD!

now that I look around... perhaps a link in the menu bar by "Forum FAQ" that says "MF RULES" would be appropriate... then nobody could say they could not find them.

I realize people will highjack threads - - heck, I do it myself sometimes because I just cannot resist interjecting a bit of humor now and then.

I actually don't mind people "Discussing" issues - with MF even.. as long as it is done in a civil manor. I even like people pointing out faults and things we could improve on.. THAT is how we grow to be a better place. but "Demands' are another thing entirely.

Soldshort...
Um... Er.... what do you plan on doing with that Baseball bat you are holding behind you?
