Default cold air intake installed but have question

I just installed my demolet cai last night with the tuneableinduction 93 tune and I am very impressed. There is definately a noticeable difference. I do have a question and it is probably a stupid one but I have to ask. There is a hissing noise coming from the area where the intake is. It almost sounds like a turbo but definately not as loud. Is this normal? If I had to guess I qould think it is from the air filter not being covered and I can just here the air being sucked into the throttle body better. But I just want to check and see if it is normal and I do not have an induction leak. Thanks

Does it only happen (the hiss) when you hit the gas pedal? Mine makes a woosh type sound when I do. It the air being sucked in. It's normal unless it's a constant hiss. That's maybe something else.

Lol! Yeah that's just the air getting sucked in. Sounds beautiful doesn't it?

PERFECT! That is the sweet sound of success. It means your pony is getting more air and remember, an engine is simply a giant air blower - more air = more power. If you had a leak it would manifest itself by unstable idle or acceleration and/or your CEL would light up.

It only happens when I hit the gas. I figured it was the sweet sound of success. It just sounds bad *** to hear my engine sucking up every ounce of air.
