K, I just took my car out for a rip (5 speed manual) and made a chart of speeds and RPM's (had to go for a second rip for some of the speeds as writing at double the speed limit and actually looking at what you are writing isn't cool, so my pen jumped catagories a couple of times) and for every 1k increment the speeds seemed to be consistent (ex. 1st gear 2k=21, 3k=31, 4k=41, etc.). As for 5th gear I figured out that our theoretical speed at 5k is ~260-270 and if we take the theoretical speeds at 4 1/2k ~235-245, that should be our theoretical speed at 5k in 5th with 3.73's as 3.73's should raise our rpm's by about 500, right? Any flaws in my theory? (I'm sure Lizzy will find them if anyone does... talking in all that physics mumbo-jumbo! j/k).
