Default rust on brakes

Just got my 06 wed, and its been raining since i got it. My discs seems to be rusting up REALLY quickly. is this something to do with new brakes, common anyways, anything that can treat it some, or is it something i should really be worried about and take it to dealer

Don't worry about it. The surface rust disappears once you drive your car. It is very common. When I wash my car, the rotors will start to rust before I can get the car dry!

Same here, I make it a habit to take a drive after a wash to blow off all the little water drips and clean / dry the rotors.
