Default RE: Serious Trouble at Ford

I've heard that Ford is redesigning some of their vehicles including Mustang for 2009 and going toward a bolder look both exterior and interior. It's said that Mustang may go toward the '69-'70 look and that the interior will have more eye appeal. Ford has had slumps before in the '80s and '90s. Remember when Ford was gonna make Mustang front wheel drive and instead had to hurry and come up with a rear wheel drive redesign? The front drive Mustang carried the Probe nameplate and Mustang soldiered on as the '94 model. At least the cars now have some recognizability (if that's a word). Cars in the '90s all had the jellybean look.
If I needed a family type car the Fusion or 500 would suit me fine. They're classy yet sporty at the same time.
