Default 04' Thunderbird

How do you think our cars would size up to a 04' thunderbird?

Welp they have a 3.9L V8 thats puttin out around 280/hp 285/Tq so i would say stock we pry dont have too good of a chance. The numbers are pry from the crack so i don't know what it gets to the wheels. I'd guess with mods we might have a chance depending on what mods you use.

Looking at ETs for the new Tbird, they're not too fast for a V8: 3.9L V8 280HP and 286ft-lbs torque. Showing a 0-60 of 6.7 seconds and 1/4 ET if 15.1 seconds at 95.53MPH (could probably do mid 14s with a good driver).

Drivers race, could go either way. They have big engines but are heavy enough to be high 14-low 15's like us.

So on average those times aren't too far off from ours..So go out and find a Thunderbird, race him and bring us the results

My father bought an 05 thunderbird. It gets up, but not like you would expect. One thing i exspecially hate is how quite the car is. I understand it is more of a comfy luxery cruiser or whatever, but i think it could be a bit louder. Anyway, while it doesn't compare to the Gt, it would still stomp us stock to stock.

Thanks for the input. I was just wonderin. My best friend who drives an 00' stang v6 and his mom has an 04' red thunderbird ragtop. I was just wonderin.

+1 on the volume of the car. I thought being a v8 and dualed out would be a bit grumblier.
