i was comming home from school today, and i pulled up behind another kid from school that had a 98 Gt. Lets just say he took off then I took off after him, and he wasnt going anywhere.

yea the kid took off before me because I was behind him, but he wasnt pulling on me. If we had lined up it would of been close.

I would of taken him if it was after this weekend cause i got the C&L CAI commin and the x cal tuner.

If its an auto the tq is about 232 at the floor prob around 246 if a manual, the hp is about 180 to the floor meybe 191 for a manual. A few good tune intake and muffler and you'll be close to that if you have a manual tranny . I was 213hp and 242tq before the blower

Ya 215hp is right up our alley with couple things added which isnt too bad...If i were to buy an older GT i wouldve bought like an 01-02, at least those had alittle bit more power to them

My dad has a 96 with the usual bolt ons no tuner...it laid down 203 hp and 291 tq ...its a manual but he has never taken it to the track and i have never lined up against him with the v6.
