Default Brake warning light

Brake warning light came on just now after I pulled out of a drive-thru... the parking brake wasn't engaged obviously, so it makes me wonder. I turned off the motor, and restarted, and it's still on, any ideas? Brake response hasn't changed as far as I can tell.

if the parking brake is engaged just a little bit it would do this and you wouldn't even notice it driving, play with that a little. If that doesn't work, check your brake fluid.

could be a stuck parking brake switch...they are spring loaded. Take it to the dealer, let them fix it. Shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
