Default RE: cleaning the radiator

Easy: spray with something like simple green and let sit for awhile, spray with water from inside the engine bay thru the radiator to push the crap out. Don't spray from the outside and futher push crap into the radiator. Don't use high pressure you can bend fins easily. Straighten out bends with a small blade screwdriver

Hard: Go to HVAC supply house and get something like a foaming coil cleaner (non acid base) they use on your AC coil. The foaming action literally pushes crap out from between the fins. Rinse down with low pressure water. They also have tool called a fin-jack or a fin comb for straightening AC coil fins, trick would be to find a tip with the right size spacing for this application.
