Default Lost a Hood Hinge Bolt help!!

I was installing the MRT hood struts and was trying to replace the hood hinge bolt when it dropped into the engine area and now it is lost, I need to know what is the bolt size I need to replace it with. I went to the dealer but they did not have one in stock..

Uhhhh... You should find the bolt, thats not good if it fell into the engine. Thats how aircraft crash.

Try using a magnet stick thing, thats how I find them if they get lost on the a/c I work on. Just hope the bolt is steel.

heck, i dropped two doing mine. there's one spot right under where the bolt comes off. Falls into no man's land. cant get hand down or up from ground.

dealer has to order that part.

the hood will hold with just one bolt for a day or two. mine did.

Well I got lucky I went to the dealer and they told me the bolt size which is 8mm X 20mm so I have a new bolt on and everthing is ok now.
