Hey all, thanks for all the input...We ended up racing after work on this strip we have behind our office and unfortunatly I didn't beat the GTS...
I DISTROYED IT!!!! No contest...off the line I was a half car ahead by the end I was about a car and a half ahead!!!
List of excuses:
The strip wasn't long enough
I have to wait for my power to kick in B/C I have AT
I heard a weird noise near the end
I think I might have a leak in my exhaust
Blah, Blah, Blah... C'mon...just say nice car! Sorry I doubted it and move on...
Bone Stock! 06 v6 5-speed eats stlightly modded Auto.Trans. 4 speed GTS....
I'm just happy I won my first race...

I drive an 02 celi gts, except mine is a real gts, with a manual 6, not the auto 5. so yeah, roast this guy, and let him know, that a celi driver was pullin 4 u. but if it were a 6er like mine, well if it was me, you'd be taken, only cuz I know the perfect shift points, and unlike other gts', that red line at like 75-76k, mine redlines at 8k.

Heck yea man!! Now you should consider the intake and tuner combo. You should check out the local track by your home too. Its a whole other world! lol not to mention thats is more safe and legal. Congrats on your first kill. Keep em coming
I was thinking about getting one but I couldn't find one last year.

I'm hooked now! I do have to slow it down a bit though...I picked a fight with an Eclipse the other night after he cut me off and hit the 115 limit racing him...he pulled on me after I hit the limit but it was me most of the way... I'll notice a difference in the way it drives the next day after I run it hard...do you guys think my SCT-tuner will help with that or is it normal?
GTS- is a 4 speed manual not 5 speed...right??? geez! either way I took him and he keeps telling me he wants a rematch when he gets his leak fixed...I told him it was only to show him that he shouldn't underestimate v6'rs...or there drivers..I wont race him again...
