No offence but I assume your new to the service, never ever speed on post. You can usally get away with a few miles over in town but MP's cut no slack. Post commanders are often giving them constant greif about speeding and many have ego issues. That is not to say all MP's are like that but you find it pretty often especially in younger ones, they often chill out when they get some expirence and rank. But still you have to keep it right at the speed limit or below on post which sucks becuase the speeds on post are normally ultra low to begin with. I wish I had a dollar that I had to stand in front of the man with one of my troops while he got his driving privileges suspended and I got chewed out for letting him speed, like I had some magic way of being in everyone of their cars 24/7.

I agree, on AF bases, at least Hickam, the amount of miles over the limit is the amount of days you are walking! I got hit when I was stationed there! Besides, speeding on base is considered a disobeying a direct order from the base commander... not a position I really want to be in!
