RE: Fair price
So you get the t-lok and install for $800 without gears? Interesting. So t-lok is $250 and they want $550 for labor. KY comes to mind. Shop around. Around here it would be for both with change. Might as well buy an 8.8 (around $600) rear and put it in yourself.

RE: Fair price
It is weird some of the quotes I got.
I called a place near my house and the guy quoted me 7 hrs x 65hr for the install. I laughed and said talk to you later
The performance shops seem to be way cheaper and way more trustworthy

RE: Fair price
I went to a couple places and got some quotes from some friends that work in some of the shops around here and they told me $750 for both gears and t-lok but they would be cuttin me a deal. Then i asked if they didnt give me a deal wat they charge and they told me itd be around $825 so personally i think $800 for just buying the t-lok and installation is too high.
