so tonight i was driving home from grabbin a little ice cream when i pushed the clutch in and decided to coast and push the brake to slow to a stop at the light instead of downshifting. well i heard a quick little ummm....bog noise? well i thought maybe i was imagining it maybe, so at the next light i did the same thing and WHOA! when the rpm's dropped after pushing in the clutch, they dropped to idle (800ish) and just kept going until like 400! and i heard this horrible bog noise for just over a second. after that i drove the rest of the way home and swore to myself if it happened again i would pull over, but it didn't. is this possibly the air bubble in the fuel pump issue some people are having? i have never expreienced this kind of thing before and i thought the tsb for the fuel pump was only for 05's...my car is an 06, but the sticker on my motor says it was built in july of 05. does anybody have any idea what is going on or any suggestions?

never happened to me, mine is a 2006, built in august 2005...

how many miles u got on it, and whens the last time u changed ur fuel filter

3,700 miles....never changed the fuel filter. changed the oil and oil filter at 1k.

well ive noticed my car almost bogging w/ the power steering at full turn, but if you were going straight thats weird. Do you have the stock air filter? if u have the kn or another filter that needs to be oiled, and the oil gets on the MAFS it can screw it up. My car does the opposite problem, it revs up randomly as high as 2000 rpms w/ the clutch in, my car was made in aug of 2004, so im clueless. I have a drop in kn airfilter so maybe I over oiled, weird

I just got my fuel pump replaced for a the bogging issue after the warmed up. I'd get intermittent near stalls and power... Maybe similar?

They did it under warranty and I didn't have to beg or plead. Seems to have fixed the issue thus far.
