I guess when you are in the customn seat cover business for many years, you see many many samples of material, when you look at a 2007 GT at the dealership with the pleather side panels on the seats and the vehicle still has all the protective plastic all over the inside dash and all other parts..............BRAND NEW VEHICLE.......not test driven.........and see the the creasing in the material, one would think it is in the manufacturing of the seats or a texture which is in the material one would think that your pleather side panels are fine!

I have cloth seats....................which will have CUSTOM seat cover made.................with extremely high quality material, yes I am dreaming of the CUSTOM seat covers which I will have made!

Roush, Saleen and others take that pleather stuff off and sell it for cheap...............that is why those take off covers are available......yes I am always DREAMING of OWNING a Roush or Saleen..............................[sm=shootshoot.gif]

Nothing personal......need custom seat covers?

sorry to belittle your reasoning. you do have experience. Just to me it doesnt make sense. I think its getting worse, and it is in fact really only in that one spot, and if its on the passenger side...somethings forming

You'll probably find that that is considered normal wear until you see seam separation or the backing cloth in the "cracks". My neighbor does some upholstery work for the dealer I got my car from and he said keep it conditioned especially in colder weather and replace them with a quality material when it starts to wear out.
