Best TIRES
I ended up buying Proxes T1R's they're a good all around tire I haven't haven't any issues with slipping on take off or anything. But I don't have any HP mods either. I think I may have bought more tire than I need right now but it gives me some room to work with. But IMO a good sport tire with an "S" or "Z" rating should do you fine for all season driving (except snow)
I've noticed that the Toyo's are mainly left to the Ricers. I know that the Mickey Thompson's and Hoosiers are mandatory (sometimes literally) for the Drag racing and circle track crowd, which is understandable considering the lineage.
But is it some sort mortal sin to put these on the Mustangs? Or is there a reason, other than the NHRA, NASCAR connection, that the majority of American Car owners stay with Goodyear and Firestones. Almost completely disregarding other companies that design and build rubber for European supercars and Japanese sport coupes.

I just bought the T1R's...............not mounted yet, but I am sure I will be quite happy with them........when I wear those out, could always try something else..............tires are expendable................
Cheers!!
