Stop being so full of yourself you didnt even install anything but the double sided stickey tape mods on your car...and then you didnt even paint them yourself. Oh boy a supercharger. ANYONE can go out and buy a supercharger its not a big deal. Again its always second hand with you. EVERYTHING but a supercharger to you is not even a modification. Its like these aftermarket companys make this stuff to trick everyone into thinking theres an improvement? I think you were the one who argued that tires were not a modification. Man you just so full of yourself. I just gave my opinion. You jump on me like a hawk and your reason/logic is totaly incorrect. BTW why is your car an automatic?

I doubt you would even see 10RWHP gain... let alone 20!! LOL! Paul's shop did a JBA headers and JBA mufflers and only seen 17RWHP... 10 of that is just probably the muffler!! A GT take muffler is good for 10RWHP... you figure a JBA muffler should be as good as that...

put of course your the guy that gets a big gain out of his TB spacer while everyone else's dyno test show ZERO gains... LOL!
How come everything with you is always second hand? Ive done it I feel an improvement. Eh talking to you is like talking to a wall.

So... post your dyno sheets or time slips proving your point.

There are two types of dyno....

1. SOTP (Seat of the pants) dyno, AKA butt-dyno. Basically if you feel the difference, than good. You are a happy consumer.
2. Dyno Session: On a mustang dyno, dynojet, etc. Preferrably before and after sheets.

Headers NA don't show much of a gain, however they may affect the power curve and give you some low end grunt EDIT - Correction, I think they will move the power to upper rpms of the power band, but you get my point. A dyno will show the change in the way the car makes power. A power curve change may be what you are feeling along with some 3-5RWHP.

I plan to look into headers and see what they do on my FI setup. I got a good baseline right now. Would be nice to see how it turns out.

Props for installing it yourself. Just a note, John was running his car years ago NA at the track. On a lot of this stuff, he has been there/done that. Also, all the top track runners are running autos or modified autos. And several GT guys that are top track runners are switching out their manuals for autos.....the manual tranny in this car leaves a bit to be desired for the track guys.

Thanks for the detailed write up. The butt dyno does count so some. So kudos again for the self install and noticing a difference.

No probably about it, it would certainly decimate him. It's a 12 second 4.0.

Dont really have any useful input but i have feeling headers do have more use than what weve seen so far. I find it hard to believe that our headers are that good stock.

Stock ones actually flow very well. That is why the gains are not as high as normally expected.
