XCharger Men - Give me your current impressions

RE: XCharger Men - Give me your current impressions
there is a difference in the CA kit and hi-po kit, mainly the air-box and tune, with the hi-po you can run a smaller pulley and higher boost, the hi-po isnt scheduled to be CARB certified at this time, if there is interest I will talk to Dave about a group buy again, he seemed receptive to it but there needs to be some genuine interest, most of the group buys dont actually happen if the item is over 100 bucks it seems and all vendors know that

I have both kits and the meth/water injection, I also run a smaller pulley (2.8") with my hi-po kit, runs about 9 pounds of boost, standard boost is 6# with the 3" pulley, I put the hi-po on for shows and track only, the CA kit (as it is called) is plenty of street driving power and fun, rygen can attest to it, he got to drive an xcharged car a while back, its pretty torqey (is that a word?) the trouble I have on the street is running out of room to open the car up, on the hwy 60 to 100 is quick also, LOL I do strongly recommend getting a tloc or other LSD as traction with the peg leg is really bad, especially on wet streets!

Although it's a long way off for me, the few good points offered on the X-Charger have sold me. I really don't plan on going to the track that much and it would definately be nice to have some more power while just cruising around.
