Default Freaking out a little.....

My parking garage is on fire and they haven't put it out yet. [] I'm trying to be cool, but I just feel sick. The security guards say it's on the 7th floor (I park on a ramp between 6 & 7) and that there was an explosion. Black smoke and flames were pouring out the sides when I went out to look - it's now just white smoke. I doubt my pony is damaged physically based on where I'm parked, I'm more concerned right now with having a stinky car!!

Yikes! Must have been parked on the same level with a ford exploader. I wouldent be able to stand that thought if that happend near my car. I cant even stand when people park next to me.

Thanks for the good wishes - I'm getting ready to head over there and see if they will let us in now.

enorym - that's hilarious :::ford exploader::: I don't like people parking next to me either - which is why I park on the top levels. Thought I was safe......

Hopefully it won't be too smokey smelling, that's gross when it gets into the fabric and everything. Might have to take her in and get a nice detailing done to get all the smell out.

Man, that stinks. Hope your car is ok. I sympathize, I'd be going nuts in that situation

Just think of it this way. If your car is destroyed, you will hopefully have it paid off to your GAP insurence, and have a whole bunch of money paid to you for your loss. Hello new car!!!!

Now if it smells, well just cruise around with the windows down and music up.

See, its a win/win situation!

My pony is fine - a little smoke smell, but nothing a good drive with the windows down won't cure.

Someone's car caught on fire - talked to a fireman and he said it was the gas tank on the car that exploded. Not many cars up there, sonothing else was damaged(I went and moved my car down to the 3rd floor anyway).

Ijust got my GT takeoffmufflerslast week and my hubby is putting one on tonight (having duals put on in a month or two).I definitely thoughtfor a second there while standing outside watching smoke pour out of the garage, that I wouldn't have a carto put it on!
